A Touch of the Past, preserved for the future. Our byway is 10.41 miles encompassing 3 counties on all county roads following the Mohican River. The Wally Road Scenic Byway reawakens people to remember to look at the scenic wonders that was created by the last great glacier in this river valley. This Walhonding Valley Railroad route was considered one of the most scenic train rides in Ohio during its operation. This Byway has a number of recreational facilities from camping, cabins, canoeing and motel rooms. There are also historical themed events along this route through out the year. The Natural beauty seen during all four seasons is worth the drive down the Wally Road Scenic Byway at least 4 times a year. The Byway is located off of St Rt 3 south of Loudonville or off of St Rt 514 north of Danville.
