11 Carnegie World Championship Domino Tournament - The Carnegie World Championship Domino Tournament, held during the second week of February since the 1940′s, is a super-regional attraction. Players from all over the state and region compete for nothing more than bragging rights. Sports Illustrated magazine covered the event in 1967, citing the great tradition and colorful history of the event. Come join us on Saturday for the right to be known as a world champion! The competition begins at 10 AM, registration opens at 8 AM. If you don’t have a playing partner, we can find one for you the day of the tournament.

15 Cat Race - A USATF sanctioned and certified course event that is sponsored by the Carnegie Masonic Lodge and Carnegie All Sports Club to benefit the high school athletic programs. A 2K race begins at 9am where participants can run or walk. The 5K will begin at 9:45. Check in begins at 8am.

15 Easter Egg Hunt - Children ages 1 to 12 years of age can bring their Easter basket and hunt for over 4,000 filled Easter eggs, including 700 prize eggs. 1pm.

4 Community Fireworks - Evening fireworks display, with the Kiowa Gourd Clan Powwow scheduled during daytime hours at the lower park area.

26 - 29 Kiowa Gourd Clan Powwow - Come watch the Kiowa Gourd Clan dance with beautiful and colorful shawls and headdresses. Some tipis will also be on site.

7 - 8 Carnegie Roundup Club Rodeo - From team roping to barrel racing and bull riding, there is something for everyone. Parade on Saturday begins on Main Street at 10am with roundup clubs showing off their "cowboy duds." 8pm rodeo each night.

17 - 19 Tri-County Free Fair - This annual fair offers carnival rides, games for the kids, exhibits for adults, food, arts and crafts for young and old alike, a stock show, bingo and much more. Held in conjunction with the Canna Festival on Saturday.

23 Canna Festival and Fair - Activities include a parade, antique car show, arts & crafts, carnival rides, great food, a wide variety of vendors, and great entertainment each night and on Saturday. We will also have frog & turtle races on Saturday beginning at 6 PM, along with a pet show for the kids. So bring your dog, cat, turtle, prairie dog, etc. Prizes for the kids at the pet show & frog/turtle race will be a big bag of fair tokens! Free guided tours of the Horn Canna Farm, one of the world's largest exclusive grower of cannas, will also be available. Begins at 10am. Last weekend in September.
