Ottawa Community Arts Center Ottawa Community Arts Council (OCAC), of Ottawa, Kansas , is a non-profit arts organization that has been in existence since 1977.

The Ottawa Community Arts Council has been the official arts organization for Ottawa and Franklin County for over 30 years. Activities of the Arts Council and other arts programs are located in the beautiful Carnegie Cultural Center, a National Register-listed building owned by the City of Ottawa. The Carnegie Cultural Center, 501 S. Main Street, is not only home to the OCAC, but also the Ottawa Art Guild, ACT Ottawa and the Ottawa Suzuki Strings.

OCAC programming reaches audiences of all ages, with particular focus on children, adolescents and young adults. Activities include art classes, an annual Franklin County School Kids Art exhibit in March, an Art Gallery of selected monthly exhibitions, Summer Art Programs, a free youth art club- OYAA! Club, and a newly updated Gift Shop.

Ottawa\'s Carnegie Cultural Center is central to showcase, house and promote the arts in our community.
