Owensville SpringFest
- The festival is scheduled for weekend activities each year in the middle of April. The Springfest, a celebration of Spring, involves the schools and the entire community. A Springfest Queen is crowned, Maypoles are wound and community organizations provide a busy schedule of activities. The first 3-day festival was held in 1987 and was dedicated to the memory of Dr. Paul C. Baker (1934-1986) a local physician and community leader who was instrumental in the origination of the Tulip Festival (original name). The Springfest Committee schedules the activities of the festival and oversees the planting of tulip beds throughout the city. The festival is scheduled for weekend activities each year in the middle of April. On Saturday, the Owensville German-American Friendship Club will host its Annual Fruhjahr Tanz (Spring Dance). Gasconade County Fair
- Owensville hosts the largest county-wide event - The Gasconade County Fair. Activities begin on Wednesday with entries of exhibits and livestock, carnival rides, food booths and more. Check out their new website to confirm events and entertainment. The exhibit halls are full of agricultural products, baked and canned foods, handmade creations, flowers and 4-H and Scout projects. The livestock barns are a popular attraction with beef and dairy cattle, swine, sheep, goats, and rabbits. The Livestock/Ham Sale is held on Saturday beginning at 3:00PM. Many local businesses and industries support the exhibitors. . Also, each evening a stage show and musical entertainment is provided. Immaculate Conception Fall Festival & Car Show
- 30 Classes, 3 awards in each class, plus Specialty Awards, Awards presented at approx. 4 p.m., Soda, Brats, Hot Dogs, Fried Chicken & Whole Hog Sausage Dinners, Kids Games/Activities, Silent Auction, Country Store, etc. served by the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
