Event Details

The Relay for Life is a special event that celebrates life. From the Opening Ceremonies to the closing service, every moment is filled with exciting adventures.  The Survivor Walk and meal, competitive games, entertainment, food, a luminary service, campsite decorations winners, Loren's hugs for a cure, and many other activities make this an event for everyone.  Proceeds help fund research to find a cure for cancer during. Previous Relay for Life Events brought over $180,000 was raised.

Agriculture Tour "A Day on the Farm"

Our Agriculture Tour is available May through October.  Everyone will be spending the day watching cows being milked the modern way; feel the soft, fuzzy fur of the alpacas; view the beautiful pheasants and see the different types of grasses grown for upground hunting; visit the Crawford

Pfeifer Dairy Farms

A modern dairy farm milking around 300 cows twice a day.  Here their story and see the actual milking of cows the modern way.  Plus you may bottle feed a calf if you want.  This is an excellent tour to actually experience where milk comes from.

Norton's Flower Shop Tour

Norton's Flower Shop was established in 1882 and is the oldest flower shop still in business in Bucyrus.  The flower shop is a full service florist and has FTD wire service available.

The D. Picking Company is the only hand hammered copper kettle manufacturer remaining in the United States. Founded in 1874 this is the last of the Old Copper Shops still making its original product - Apperbutter Kettles - primarily by hand.
