Ruby Red Weekend The Dresden Village Association and Longaberger Homestead(TM) are teaming up for a special event for our Red Hat friends on August 17 and 18, 2007! Our Ruby Red Weekend offers special events at the Homestead on Friday and in Dresden on Saturday. At the Homestead on Friday you can attend a tea, take a garden tour, participate in a treasure hunt, Make-A-Basket to commemorate this special weekend, enjoy a lively dinner theatre at the Crawford Barn and even participate in a parade. Saturday features a pajama breakfast and "male" fashion show, scrapbooking workshops, jewelry making seminars, hat walks, hat decorating contests, and a wine tasting event to cap off the afternoon in Dresden.
