On behalf of W.O.W. (Women of Worth), you are invited to attend the "Web Launch Spectacular" from 6:30pm-11:00pm. This event will pave the way for what is destined to be a phenomenal organization empowering our most influential women of the San Antonio Community.

The First Curtain Call will take place from 6:30 p.m.-7:30p.m. whereupon a Social Hour and Meet & Greet session will take place. The Second Curtain Call will take place at 8:00 p.m., during which the Web Launch will take place, and the Non Profit Platform will be presented. During the rest of the night, various guest speakers will present their thoughts including the Master of Ceremonies, David Lomas and Mistress of Ceremonies Nina Duran who will be entertaining W.O.W. guests throughout the night. Final Curtain Call will take place at exactly 9:00 p.m. with a spectacular Burlesque themed Runway Fashion Show, courtesy of IADT designers.

This event promises to create a positive stir in the community with special performances during this burlesque-style event. The Vision for W.O.W. during 2011 and their Non-Profit Platform are to be revealed as they move forward to Enhance, Embrace and Empower the City of San Antonio.

About WOW-Women of Worth - W.O.W. Women Of Worth is a Woman's Group centrally located in the heart of San Antonio, Texas but reaches out to women everywhere. The W.O.W. mission is to inspire growth personally, emotionally and professionally by compassion, potential and integrity. The group was developed and created to cater to the women of San Antonio and the surrounding communities in a stress-free, and also, monthly-due-free environment. Our group was established to give women an opportunity to empower not only themselves but also other women along the way. W.O.W., Women Of Worth, was brought to life during May of 2010 as a woman's social collection hoping to have at least (35) members. 5 - 7TX0703030e040 - San Antonio CarFest 2024 - The annual CarFest is a free three-day festival that will take place in San Antonio, TX. The upcoming event will showcase a cruise-in, as well as a variety of activities, such as a food truck competition, BBQ cook-off, and a DJ. Additionally, over 100 collector/project cars will be on display, and visitors will have access to more than 50 retail vendors. Moreover, throughout the weekend, ten cars will be given away, adding to the excitement of the event.

There will be over a dozen acts on the community stage including performances by the choirs, martial artists, dancers, singers, and more. Additionally, there will be an artisan market, auto swap meet, and activities for children. The festival is expecting 20,000 people to attend over the three days.

9 - 12 Mariachi Festival - From 7-10pm each day the River Walk will feature local middle school and high school Mariachi Bands perform on floating barges along the 2 1/2 mile downtown area of the River Walk. Enjoy the music from the banks of the River Walk as the barges float along. This is a great time to sit outside at a River Walk restaurant, sip on a margarita and enjoy the music. Each set of barges will make one lap around the River Walk. Barges are not guranteed to stop in any particular place. You will see the boats from the patios of any river walk restaurant or Rivercenter Mall. Barges will load and unload at The Chamber of Commerce (river level).This is an official FIESTA event.
