Emanuel Haldeman-Julius Home

Emanuel Haldeman lived at this farm home with his family beginning in 1918. The home is listed on the Kansas State Register of Historic Places. Emanuel was editor of the Appeal To Reason newspaper and "Little Blue Books."

Winston Park

Winson Park was given to the people of Girard by Mr. J.E. Raymond. The Park has a swimming pool, playground equipment and picnic shelters.
