Smoke Hole meets the needs all the way around. We operate the natural wonder down under, Smoke Hole Caverns. Professionally guided tours are daily leading you into a show cave where you can view "The World's Longest Ribbon Stalactite," see "The Room of a Million Stalactites," an here the stories of the three groups of people whom used the caverns--Seneca Indians, Soldiers during the Civil War, and the famous "West Virginia Moonshiners." An orginal still remains on display. We also offer all the comforts of home with our beautiful Riverside Family Log Cabins, Honeymoon Log Cabins and Log Motel. We also offer the largest souvenir and giftshop in West Virginia that holdest the most unique items. "If we don't have it, It's probably not made." Our location is only three hours from Baltimore, Washington D.C., Pittsburgh, and Charleston, WV. We are nestled in the Appalachian mountains in an area located less than 1 hour from 12 major natural attractions.
