Symphony in the Flint Hills, Inc. celebrates the history, ecology and culture of the last stand of native tallgrass prairie through music and place-based education. The organization’s Signature Event debuted in June 2006 and has sold out every year since. The symphony moves each year to a different site in the Flint Hills. Each year, we offer 5,000 General Admission tickets to our Signature Event. Tickets are announced in early Spring and available through the Kansas City Symphony Box Office by calling 816-471-0400, going online or visiting in person at 1703 Wyandotte, Suite 200 in Kansas City, MO. The Box Office opens at 10 a.m. Tickets are also available in person in Wichita at Dillards at Towne East Shopping Mall from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on April 5 ONLY.


General Admission tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Purchases are limited to a maximum of six tickets per order and generally sell out quickly. Patrons (see below) are guaranteed tickets.


Patron Tickets


Patrons, which help support the year-round mission of Symphony in the Flint Hills, are guaranteed tickets to our Signature Event.


Patrons receive:
• Two tickets with reserved concert seating
• Option to buy up to two additional tickets
• Parking passes
• Admission to a patron reception and dinner
• A gift certificate for merchandise
• Access to the on-site hospitality tent
• Recognition in the program

Weather in the Great Plains can be unpredictable. Should weather affect our ability to hold the Signature Event, it will be rescheduled for the following day.


Cancellations and Refund Policy


In the case of event cancellation on Saturday, June 14, 2014 a rain date concert is scheduled for Sunday, June 15, 2014. If both concerts are cancelled tickets will not be refunded. You may claim the price of the unused tickets as a charitable donation. Symphony in the Flint Hills, Inc. is a 501c(3) nonprofit organization.


There will be NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES.
