Clifton

Clifton is located on the northern edge of the Republican River Valley, and has the unique distinction of being in two counties. Highway 9, Clifton’s main street, divides the two counties with Washington County on the north and Clay County on the south.


Each August, Clifton is the place to be for the grassroot music buff where musicians gather from Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska to compete for cash awards and have a purely down home country good time!
