Sponsored by the Van Horn Chapter of LULAC, this event promises a day full of great fun, great food and great community fellowship as we celebrate our National Pride and Freedom. A GREAT day for family and friends that climaxes in a spectacular fireworks show.

Fr. Alfred Villanueva, the current pastor of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, had a grotto built in the church yard in honor of "Our Lady." The statue was brought over from Portugal and blessed during an outdoor mass on Mother's Day, 2001
