Wheeler, Texas

the Wheeler post office was established when the area became "thickly settled" by five families living in dugouts within a two-mile radius. Wheeler became the seat of Wheeler County 1906, and today serves as the regional, educational, medical, commercial, and agricultural center for the county along with extensive cattle feedlot operations.
