Volente, Texas
Volente is an unincorporated community in northwestern Travis County on Lake Travis. A post office was established in 1886, but later moved to Cedar Park in Williamson County. The area was partially submerged by Lake Travis in the 1930s and residents had to relocate to higher ground.
