Warren's Meat Market

1010 E. 29th
Hays KS 67601
Ph: 785-625-4902

"A taste of Germany right here in Hays"
Warren and Arlene Wittman own and operate this family business that began in September 2002. Warren has worked in the meat and sausage business for over 40 years at several local stores. When one of the local grocery stores changed owners and stopped selling German sausage, Warren thought it was a good opportunity for him to open a meat market that would specialize in authentic German sausage. The store also features brats, liverwurst, pork liver sausage, ring bologna, breakfast link sausage, beef sticks, country style sausage, zitter and seasoned ground beef. Smoked meats are also a popular item and includes: smoked pork and beef as well as smoked turkey legs and chicken. If you need special cut-to-order meat, Warren provides that service in addition to his daily selection of sliced bacon and cottage bacon, pork roasts, pork chops, country ribs and a variety of steaks. Although the variety of German sausages makes up the bulk of sales, Swedish potato sausage, Italian sausage and chorizo is also available. Stop in and check out their selection and enjoy the aroma of the freshly smoked meats.
