A tribute to Marion veterans, the ornate WW II monument at the Marion Cemetery was dedicated in 2001 and is currently one of the largest memorials to WWII Veterans of its kind outside Washington DC. The names of local men & women are inscribed on an awe-inspiring black granite structure.
