4 Heirloom Plant Sale - Adena's annual heirloom plant sale is a tradition in Ohio for those looking for unique flowers and vegetables. Fresh from the Adena greenhouses, choose from thirty varieties of tomatoes, vegetables and herbs, 100 heirloom and rare flowers and eyectatching hanging baskets. Adena staff and Master Gardeners will be on hand to answer questions and provide information on the history of the plants. Gardening books and tools are available in the Ohio History Store. This sale will be from 9am to 5 pm.

Spend the day shopping and touring the entire site. Touring the grounds is free, admission charged for the Museum and Education CenterĀ and Mansion. Site tours not available on Monday and Tuesday.

8 Garden Tour and Luncheon - Stroll through the historic town of Zoar Ohio and view local private and public gardens. Speakers will be set up throughout the village in the historic village to educate gardeners and those who love flowers. A luncheon and silent auction is also included in the ticket price of $30. If you just want to see the historic gardens, buildings and hear the speakers, the price is $15.

20 - 21 Zoar Harvest Festival - The historic German village of Zoar celebrates the wheat harvest by holding an antiques show, craft show, car show and much more. Held annually, the Harvest Festival features music, entertainment and tours of the site's ten museum buildings that tell the story of the religious Separatists who founded the village in 1817.

Over 60 antiques dealers and 40 fine craftspeople will be on hand to sell their wares. A horse-drawn wagon will take visitors around the village. Music of all forms can be heard, from country-western to polka to hymns on the 1874 Zoar Church organ. German-style food will be available, including a beer garden co-sponsored by Budweiser.

30 Dinner and a Ghost! - Join us in a very historical...and some say haunted, building! Our event begins in the old Zoar Hotel. Listen to this villages history and some of the alleged hauntings that have taken place in the area. Come and explore the nooks and crannies with us and use actual ghosthunting gear. We venture into several properties to explore and investigate. Our late night buffet is prepared by a historic foodways coordinator on site at Zoar.
