Stockton Lake Campgrounds

Stockton Lake Campgrounds Eleven campgrounds are conveniently located around Stockton Lake. Eight are managed by the Corps of Engineers (Cedar Ridge, Crabtree Cove, Hawker Point, Masters, Orleans Trail North, Orleans Trail South, Ruark Bluff East, and Ruark Bluff West); two are operated by marina concessionaires (Orleans Trail Marina and Mutton Creek Marina); and one is operated by the Missouri Department of Natural Resources (Stockton State Park). Campgrounds contain campsites with lantern hanging posts, picnic tables, and fire rings. Shower buildings, sanitary dump stations, and water hydrants are located in most parks.

Cedar Ridge

Cedar Ridge is a 340-acre park on the Little Sac Arm of Stockton Lake. It consists of 33 non-electric sites and 21 electric sites. Amenities included in this park are a sanitary dump station, shower building, two picnic areas, two boat launches, a fishing dock and a swimming beach.

Crabtree Cove

Crabtree Cove is located on the Northeast corner of Stockton Lake just west of the town of Stockton. It is a 168-acre park consisting of 32 non-electric sites (2 of which are handicap accessible) and 32 electric sites (2 of which are double sites). Amenities of this park are a sanitary dump station, shower building, picnic shelter, boat ramp, and fishing dock.

Hawker Point

Hawker Point is located on the northern end of the Big Sac Arm of Stockton Lake. It is a 518-acre park consisting of 32 non-electric sites and 30 electric sites. Amenities of this park are two sanitary dump stations, two shower buildings, picnic area, boat ramp, and equestrian trailhead.

Masters

Masters is located on the Little Sac Arm of Stockton Lake. It is an 836-acre park consisting of 73 non-electric sites and 1 group camping area. Amenities of the park are a sanitary dump station, shower building, picnic area, boat ramp, fishing dock, and beach. The group camp consists of 6 non-electric sites and shares the campground shower building.

Mutton Creek Group Camp

The Mutton Creek Group Camp is located Northeast of the Ruark Bluff Parks and can be reserved under the Ruark Bluff East Campground. It consists of 12 electric sites and has its own private shower building and sanitary dump station.

Orleans Trail North and South

Together the Orleans Trail North and South campgrounds comprise 959-acres. They are located on the Northwest part of the lake just outside the town of Stockton. Orleans Trail North consists of 73 non-electric sites. Its amenities include a shower building and a swimming beach. The Orleans Trail South campground consists of 45 non-electric sites and 1 group camping area that consists of 12 electric sites and 2 non-electric sites. The campground's amenities include a sanitary dump station, shower building, boat ramp, walking trail, equestrian trailhead, and wind surfing staging area. The group camp's amenities include a picnic shelter and a flush toilet.

Ruark Bluff East and West

Together Ruark East and Ruark West comprise 513-acres and are located on the Big Sac arm of Sac River. A boat ramp and a beach are conveniently located just outside of the entrance to these parks. Ruark East consists of 87 non-electric sites (2 are double sites), and 28 electric sites (1 is handicap accessible). Its amenities include a sanitary dump station and 2 shower buildings. Ruark West consists of 40 non-electric sites (4 are double sites), 46 electric sites (1 handicap accessible), and 1 group camp that consists of 11 electric sites. The campgrounds amenities include 2 shower buildings and the group camp has a picnic shelter.

Stockton State Park Campground

Stockton State Park offers basic and electric campsites. Services include reservable campsites, a dump station, showers, water and laundry. A sand beach, with a restroom and changehouse facility, is located at the north end of the park. The beach area is not supervised by a lifeguard and is open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day. Also located nearby is a picnic area with tables and outdoor grills.

Stockton State Park is a perfect venue for hosting large family gatherings and special outings. Two large open picnic shelters that accommodate up to 100 guests can be reserved at a rate of $35 per day. The north shelter, which overlooks the lake, is a reproduction of the Civilian Conservation Corps and Works Progress Administration work done in the 1930s. The north shelter includes electrical outlets, picnic tables, an outdoor grill and access to restroom facilities. The south shelter located in close proximity to the marina boat launch, features children's playground equipment as well as picnic tables, an outdoor grill and access to restroom facilities. If not reserved, the shelters are available at no charge on a first-come, first-served basis.

There are also three main picnic areas located off of Highway 215 as you enter the park that are open to all visitors during park hours. These areas are equipped with outdoor grills, picnic tables and have a children's playground facility located nearby.

There are also playground facilities located in the vicinities of the south shelter and the west loop campground.

Stockton State Park Inn features both condominium and motel units open March through October. The 800-square-foot condos are full housekeeping, two bedroom units with kitchenettes and walk-out patios with grill. The condos are equipped with queen size beds, color TV and large bathrooms with tub/shower and vanity. The spacious kitchens come with a full-size refrigerator, electric range and microwave convection oven. All utensils and linens are provided.

Motel units feature cozy rooms with single and double beds and color TV.

Stockton State Park Inn guests receive a 10 percent discount off of fishing boat and pontoon rentals at the marina (Monday through Thursday, except holidays). Also, Stockton State Park Inn is conveniently located near the dining lodge and campground.
