(OPEN 30 MINUTES BEFORE SUNRISE-CLOSE 30 MINUTES BEFORE SUNSET. Suggestion: always call to make sure it is open)

Fishing Coffey Co. Lake Coffey County Lake offers one of the best predator to prey ratios in the country, which means fish thrive year long. Largemouth bass and crappie can often be hooked near areas of standing timber. The open waters are home to white bass and wipers. Along the rock-lined shores you're likely to find walleye, channel catfish, and probably the best supply of smallmouth bass anywhere in the Midwest.

Wolf Creek Environmental Education Area: The Area is open from dawn to dusk, year-round with 5 trails featuring a variety of Kansas habitats. This is a program of the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks, Western Resources and Wolf Creek employees. Guided trails and environmental education presentations may be arranged.
