Fairfield Lake, TX

Fairfield Lake was impounded in 1969, has a surface area of 2,159 acres and a maximum depth of 49 feet. Anglers should not miss the opportunity to fish for red drum in a location that does not require travel to the coast. The freshwater record (36.83 lbs) was caught in Lake Fairfield. Largemouth bass angling is excellent due to the abundant forage and year-round growing season in this heated water. Channel catfish grow rapidly and provide opportunity for high catch rates of large fish.
