Old Speck Mountain

For those who want a challenge, try the state’s third highest mountain. Access is via Route 26 north of Bethel, in the southwest corner of the park, approximately three miles north of Screw Auger Falls. Base to summit is four miles with several side trails available including Eyebrow Trail, which leads to Eyebrow Sheer Cliff, comprising part of the Grafton Notch wall.
