Newark Earthworks – Ohio Historical Society
The Newark Earthworks are the largest set of geometric earthen enclosures in the world, built between 100 BC and AD 500 by people known as the Hopewell culture. Visitors can see the Octagon Earthworks, the Great Circle Earthworks and the Wright Earthworks.
