The Spirit Of Old Beaufort Tour Center and Gift Shop

Tours begin and end at their gift shop in the Waterfront area. Narrated tour of East side focuses on the historic homes. West side tour emphasis is on churches and historic homes along the Bay St. Guides are in 18th century period dress, sing the old songs and show 1864 photos while touring the Historic Landmark District. Receptive Operator services offered to tour companies.

Historic walking tours10:30 am and 2 pm and private tours by appointment. Evening Lantern Tour begins at 7 pm Thursdays thru Saturdays or by special reservation. Includes history, ghost stories, and Gullah folklore.

Guides for Step on Bus Tours of Beaufort, Parris Island, and St. Helena’s Island also available. Flat rate of $125 per tour.

“Honor Your Partner” teaches Antebellum dances like the Virginia Reel, etc. in a fun 1.5 hour session. Cost is $12.50 per person. Group rates available. Great for Girl Scout’s Folk Art Badge, birthdays, parties and reunions!
