Becker Lake Fishing

category : Fishing
Special fishing regulations apply for Becker Lake. Catch-and-release is to be followed year-round with artificial fly and lur with a single barbless hook.

Watch for trout spawning in spring in the gravel beds near the boat ramp. You can find lunkers along the weed beds at the south end of the lake.

Popular flies are: Midges, Prince Nymph, brown Montana stone and KP buger.

Boat or float tubes will give you the best chance to catch fish at this lake so be sure to bring something to float in.

No bait fishing is allowed and all trout must be released immediately.

If you are in a boat, the motor must be electric or less that 10hp if gas.

It is illegal to move live fish from one lake or stream to another because of the harm this can cause to existing fisheries.

DO NOT, WITHOUT EXCEPTION use or possess live baitfish in Apache, Coconino or Navajo Couties.
