Kingman Carnegie Library Built in 1914, the Kingman Public Library is one of several Carnegie Libraries still being used for the purpose for which it was erected. It is also listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Kingman Carnegie Library has 92 paid periodical subscriptions and 885 materials that include disc, audiocassettes, and books on tape, 157 compact discs, 632 videos, 200 books from the rotating book truck, unique displays from area professional artists, 437 excellent books in genealogy, 883 Kansas books, 264 rolls of microfilmed newspapers from Kingman county and Kingman city dated 1884 to 1996, and Kansas census to 1920.
