The event is held at Rock Barn Golf & Spa in Conover, NC, home of the Greater Hickory Classic Champions Tour Event. The proceeds of the Bumgarner Oil Invitational provide quality, cost-free medical treatment for crippled and burned children. Shriners Hospitals for Children provide expert medical care to children who have orthopedic problems, suffer severe burns, or have sustained spinal cord injuries. Shriners Hospitals provide some of the most advanced medical care in the world at no charge. Bumgarner Oil is a Hickory, NC based supplier of oil-based fuels. Servicing gas stations, commercial contracts and residential homes since 1954, they are well established. Their range of wholesale and retail fuels includes lubricants, biodiesel, kerosene, industrial products, automotive lubricants, heating oil and the new "Going Green" biofuel products. They are open from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm on weekdays and from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm on Saturdays. Their brands include Shell and Exxon products, and they provide service and installation of climate-control systems.
