This is on the Union Pacific Sedalia Sub in Independence, MO. Train 1: A pair of UP SD70Ms lead the westbound train AASAM as it heads towards Kansas City. Train 2: Amtrak P42DC #64 leads #314 as it pulls in to the Truman Depot. I also got a shot of it leaving as well. Nice K5LA!

( Link Below) 9:36 - After dinner in Kirksville, we all headed back to La Plata to catch the WB Southwest Chief.Running over an hour late the train wizzes into La Plata and chugs out in 60 Seconds. The trains next stop is Kansas City. 10:19 - While my mom and my sisters went back to the Depot Inn and Suites to swim, My dad and I hung out at the Station with Bob Cox ( AMTKNUMBER4) This was the first freight train that snuck up on us, a WB Z- Train with 2 Dash 9s and a GP60B. 10:29 - Our nieghbors that came along on the trip headed back to the hotel, But My dad and I went up to the Look Out to see an EB Freight train with an ES44DC Leading. BNSF 6377 powering up and...: BNSF 6377 powering up and pacing sequence (awesome audio!)

This is a sequence of pacing shots of a BNSF empty coal train led by GE locomotive 6377 powering up and accelerating to track speed of 55 mph close to Weston, Mo in early October 2011. My wife thought I was going to wreck the car several times during the chase. I think the audio turned out great. The sound is probably better than the video.
