This is on the Union Pacific Sedalia Sub in Independence, MO. Train 1: A pair of UP SD70Ms lead the westbound train AASAM as it heads towards Kansas City. Train 2: Amtrak P42DC #64 leads #314 as it pulls in to the Truman Depot. I also got a shot of it leaving as well. Nice K5LA!
Streetcar #60, preserved by the Southwest Missouri Electric Railway Association in Webb City, Mo, arrives at the station while serving as the Polar Bear Express on December 11, 2010. file 10-12-11 015 trim.mov

My MTH 20-2771 Missouri Pacific SD70ACe engine and caboose from the Heritage Set, with mixed freight. The dog barking during the shut down sequence is part of the sound set! Enjoy! More pics and info at www.ericstrains.com
Today I did some railfanning on the BNSF St. Joseph Subdivision (former CB&Q) at Parkville, MO and caught some awesome cacthes! Train 1: A BNSF ES44AC and a BN SD70MAC lead an empty GRDX (Grand River Dam Authority) coal train with two BNSF ES44ACs as the DPUs as the train heads north to the Powder River Basin in Wyoming. Train 2: BNSF C44-9W #4765 leads the "Boeing Special" with two Boeing 737 fusalages. This is the first time I have ever seen this run as a special. Most of the time the fusalages ride on the front of the H-KCKPAS, but it was cool to see them as their own train!
This is a sequence of pacing shots of a BNSF empty coal train led by GE locomotive 6377 powering up and accelerating to track speed of 55 mph close to Weston, Mo in early October 2011. My wife thought I was going to wreck the car several times during the chase. I think the audio turned out great. The sound is probably better than the video.
