Anastassia Papisova is the first to independently master the Celtic (Irish) harp in Russia. She began to learn playing the harp all by herself; because she was impressed by the music of Alan Stivell and Clannad. Celtic harps were then just not available in Russia. She was lucky, however: a friend of hers moved to France and was able to get her a harp. Not surprisingly she was unable to find a teacher but she found how the harp was tuned on the Internet. Two months later she was invited to play at the first Celtic Music Festival in Russia. Two years later Anastassia performed in solo concerts in Dublin and Belfast... www.meldis.ru
