Starting date:
Event Details
In the early 1900s, long before there was #METOO, city women protected themselves against unwanted advances from men on public transportation, with HAT PINS! Hear about the history of hat pins and how they created a panic among police as far away as Europe! This program is part of the Cabinets of Curiosity series and accompanies a mini hatpin exhibit in the Victorian Home. Program begins at 2:00 pm.
