2023 National American Miss Missouri Pageant Open Call

Awarding over $1.5 million in prizes, National American Miss has been voted the #1 pageant for girls ages 4-24. Those interested in finding out more about this year's competition are welcome to attend an Open Call. To register your spot at: http://www.missouriopencall.com

National American Miss is not like any other pageant because:
-No makeup is allowed for girls under the age of 12
-No swimsuit competition
-Having a talent is not required
-No experience is necessary, as training is provided prior to the pageant.

National Cemetery

Designated a National Cemetery by President Abraham Lincoln in 1862 along with eleven others, military graves date back to 1846. Today, more than 20,000 veterans representing every war since 1812 are buried in the cemetery. Two soldiers from Operation Desert Storm were interred here in 1991.

In the 1830s, settlers heading for the Oregon and Santa Fe Trails crossed the Missouri River at this point. Teams of oxen pulled the loaded wagons through the "cut " in the hillside you can still see today.
