, KS CampingFrequent flooding and resultant high reservoir levels makes fisheries management challenging. Flushing of fish through the dam gates does occur, and fish are numerous in the spillway below the dam. All anglers fishing in the spillway are required to wear personal floatation devices.
, KS FishingTwo popular areas are the Otter Creek Offroad Vehicle Area and the Hickory Creek Trail. The Otter Creek ORV area is located at the west end of the dam and provides 140 acres of trails for dirtbikes and atvs. The area is open from sunrise to 1/2 hour after sunset.
