A three day reunion originally started in 1980 by some old Globe-Miami baseball players, it has been called by several names over the years - from Oldtime Globe-Miami Baseball Players Reunion to the Globe-Miami Oldtimers Reunion. It draws several hundred people home to the Globe-Miami community every year. And as many out of town people, mostly from California, attend the festivities as local people. The weekend is celebrated with a dinner and dance on Friday and Saturday evenings, and breakfast on Sunday morning.
