The Corps of Engineers at the Elm Fork operates two campgrounds, Hickory Creek and Oakland Park, both located on Lewisville Lake. Hickory Creek is open year-round; Oakland is open between April 1st and September 30

Lewisville Lake Boating

The Elm Fork Project has several boat ramps for public use. At some Corps boat ramps there is a $3.00 per day fee to use the boat ramps; however, an Annual Pass is also available for $30.00 (non-refundable)
