Flandrau Science Center & Planetarium The Flandrau Science Center & Planetarium is a dazzling multimedia theater and a truly unique educational experience, with 8,600 stars, galaxies, the Sun, the Moon, the planets, meteors, 30 projectors, two video systems and a sound system that is out of this world!

We offer a wide variety of planetarium shows for all ages available for both education and entertainment.

Spend an evening under the stars -- several times a day -- at Flandrau's "Star Theater"!

During the year of construction, the UA Mineral Museum, located in the lower
level of Flandrau, will remain open by appointment (call 621-4227 for
reservations), and the Flandrau Observatory will remain open to the public
on its normal schedule of Wednesday through Saturday evenings from dusk to
10 p.m., weather permitting.

Through December 2006, Flandrau Science Center is offering an introductory admission price of $2.50 per person for all ages. The price includes all the exhibits, UA Mineral Museum, and one planetarium show. During this introductory period, Flandrau Science Center and the UA Mineral Museum will be open to the public Thursday and Friday evenings from 6 to 9 p.m., Saturdays from noon to 9 p.m., and Sundays from noon to 5 p.m. Visits to the UA Mineral Museum are also available at other times by appointment by calling 621-4227. The Flandrau Observatory will continue its regular schedule with free public viewing of the night sky on Wednesday through Saturday evenings from 7 to 10 p.m., weather permitting.
