This 17,000 square-foot museum features the permanent exhibit "Doorways: A History of Iowa's African Americans." The exhibit explores Africa's role in slavery, and U.S. and Iowa history on African Americans. Changing exhibits are featured in the Gale Sayers Gallery. Educational programs and special events also offered.
