Emily Oaks Nature Center is a 13-acre nature preserve located in the heart of Skokie. This unique site is restoring the remnants of an oak savannah with walking trails, a pond and nature center.

This natural oasis is full of native wildflowers, grasses, oak trees, three-acre pond and trails. Some of the plants and animals that frequent the pond and the savanna include Great Blue Herons, Coyotes, Flying Squirrels, Northern Water Snakes, and Red Foxes.

Hours: Daily, 8am - Sundown.
