John Marshall House Museum

Tour one of the oldest brick buildings in Illinois. It was bank before Illinois became a state and is now a 2-story museum with pioneer furnishings, documents, photos, and historic memorabilia. A Lewis & Clark historical marker is also in Shawneetown.


Admission: $1.00
Hours: Friday 10am-2pm; Sat 10am-noon, 1-4pm; Sun 1-4 pm. Open Mother's Day weekend to end of October.
