Louisburg, Kansas

The Louisburg Cider Mill is widely known for its natural, fresh apple cider pressed right on the spot in the 120-plus year old barn. The renovated, classic, old hay barn and its attendant 80 acres is the center for the annual Ciderfest with hayrides, live entertainment, crafts, and of course, gallons of old-fashioned apple cider. The Country Store was added in 1978, filled with products to complement the original fresh apple cider. Always held on the last weekend in September and the first weekend in October.

The cider mill is open for reserved tours Monday through Friday from mid-September to mid-November. Tour groups can view the bottling of the cider and the making of apple butter and cider doughnuts.
