Sheltered within the wooded acres of the Wild Canid Survival and Research Center, endangered wolves are born and reared each year for reintroduction in the wild. Founded by Marlin Perkins in 1971, the Wild Canid Center is a private, non-profit conservation organization which has been pivotal in preserving several species of wolves and enabling them to return to the wild. Visitors are welcomed year-round by advanced reservation. Both daytime and evening programs are offered. During a daytime visit see endangered Mexican gray wolves, red wolves, South American maned wolves and swift foxes living in packs within their large, natural enclosures. In the evening you can learn about how wolves communicate or cozy around a campfire to hear "good wolf stories" then take a moonlight walk with a chance to howl with our wolves. It's an experience you'll never forget!

Advanced reservations are required, prices vary for each program or event, please call for details.
