Tekamah, Nebraska

Built in1996 amid rolling hills bordering the Missouri River valley, Northridge boasts a 9-hole, par 36 course modeled after links common in Europe. The course was designed by Lincoln golf architect, Grant Wencel and draws from natural terrain ideally suited for golf. Featuring beautiful views of the river valley and the neighboring bluffs, Northridge also provides beauty at much closer range in the form of native grasses along the fairways. Growing waist deep in some places, the grasses provide striking contrast, especially in the fall as they change to shades of rust and brown.

And there's more than grass growing along the course. New homes are springing up among 88 lots comprising Northridge Country Club Estates. At least two-thirds of the sires are located on the fairways.

An additional nine holes are in the planning stages, but for now, golfers have plenty to handle with the challenging layout of the front nine. The site is endorsed by former Oakland Golf Club and PGA professional, Jim White.
