When you are ready to relax, take advantage of Kimball's recreation area. Housing one of the nicest 18-hole public golf courses in Nebraska is our 270-acre Recreation Area. This course with grass greens includes a driving range and a practice putting green. And, in case you do not come prepared, our pro shop offers clubs and carts for rent. In addition to the golf course, the recreation area offers more wholesome, good-natured fun with tennis courts, a shuffleboard area, ball diamonds, a field archery range, a trap shoot area, and plenty of room for picnics.

Panorama Point and Three-State Marker

In the extreme southwest corner of the county, thirty three miles from Kimball, rises the highest point in Nebraska. This site, 5,424 feet above sea level, looks more like a rise in a pasture than the highest point in the state.
