Grand River Getaway is a fully furnished home located on the banks of the scenic Grand River in historic Austinburg, just minutes from I-90 and Rt. 45. This upscale home has 2 bedrooms with one queen bed in the master bedroom and 2 twin beds in the second bedroom. It can sleep 7 adults with the help of 2 large couches and 1 daybed. The large eat-in kitchen is complete with a stove, refrigerator, microwave and washer/dryer. Beautiful oak cabinets are stocked with pots, pans and dishes all ready for your cooking extravaganza! The great room has a wonderful view of the Grand River with French doors leading out to a patio overlooking the river. The furnishings are a mixture of antiques and contemporary style along with a local artist's paintings hanging on the walls. There is also a piano for anyone who wishes to tinker on the keys! We are located in the "heart of wine country" and are minutes from some of the more popular wineries. Ashtabula County is also the home of 16 covered bridges, most of them dating back to before the turn of the century. We are a short 10 minute ride to Geneva-on-the-Lake featuring the famous Eddies Grill and other landmarks such as Marys Kitchen and the Firehouse Winery. The Geneva State Park Beach is a must for those of you who love to swim and enjoy the white sandy beach it has to offer. Come visit us for a relaxing evening or weekend and you'll see why we are called the "Grand River Getaway." We are nestled on a quiet, country road with no street lights and the only sound you'll hear is the sound of nature at your back door and the river in your backyard!
