End of the Commons General Store

category : Businesses
Built in 1840, End of the Commons General Store is Ohio's oldest operating general store located in the heart of Amish country. End of the Commons features over 1000 bulk foods, spices, candies, pastas, trail bologna, Amish country meats & cheeses, roll butter and beef jerky. Some old time favorites are our Old Fashioned recipe root beer, hand-dipped ice cream, variety of popcorn and penny candy.

Throughout the store there are many relics of the past displayed i.e. old grocery items, old scales, cash registers, post office, bean cabinets and the oridinal wooden floor. Yes, the player piano does work! Take a trip down memory lane and stop in for tasty treats from the past.
