As part of the Allen County Museum Complex. the Children's Discovery Center offers a Native American wigwam, one-room schoolhouse, general store, log cabin, model railroad layout, classroom, and a large activity area. For a period of almost 70 years, the Lima Locomotive Works built 2,761 Shay locomotives, the last in 1945
