Altus, Oklahoma

The Southwest Technology Center provides flexible, quality vocational technical training to high school students and adults as well a business and industrial leaders.

The center provides comprehensive full-time training in health science technology, administrative services, aviation and aerospace technology, occupational services, computer information services, electronic technology, automotive technology, construction trades, simulator maintenance technology and licensed practical nursing.

Additionally, the center provides business and industry services in such areas as contract bid assistance, adult training and development, small business management training and industry specific training.

Student services include financial aid for post-secondary students and career counseling and assessment. An educational enhancement center is available for these interested.

Professional counselors are available to discuss financial aid programs and career opportunities following completion of training.

College credit is available for many of the training programs through cooperative enrollment agreements with Western Oklahoma College.
