"Charleston Green...What's Old is New Again" is the theme of the 2007 Charleston Garden Festival at Middleton Place. With a focus on the environment, participants can learn more about "green gardening" through lectures,demonstrations and workshops on environmentally sound gardening practices,designs,tools and more. See exhibit gardens where landscape designers interpret the festival's theme through their unique garden designs. Additional activities include horticultural tours, alfresco parties, children's area and the Festival Market - all designed to inspire garden enthusiasts and showcase Charleston's rice botanical and gardening heritage.
