Our tree lined driveway leads you to a newly-restored 100-year-old "Farm House" lovingly decorated with family heirlooms and antiques. Cozy fireplaces and warm wood floors in every room for quiet, relaxing, and enjoyable country getaway. Edgefield is located 26 miles northeast of Augusta, Georgia and 20 miles northwest of Aiken, South Carolina. Nestled deep in the countryside of Historic Edgefield County, the "farm house" is located on a knoll surrounded by acres of open fields and woods which provide such adventures as a pond for bream and bass fishing and several paths for walking and enjoying the beautiful natural habitat for the wide variety of birds and animals that roam the property. If you are lucky, you might even catch a glimpse of the deer grazing in the fields among the many pecan and oak trees or drinking from the ponds.

Many features make Pleasant Lane Acres the perfect getaway spot. The home has nine working fireplaces, one in each room that is reflected in the glow of the beautiful heart pine floors. The entire front of the home is for the privacy of our guests and includes a sitting room with a piano, which guests are encouraged to play, as well as a desk for writing, and several cozy corners for reading or just relaxing.
