Museum dedicated to honoring the Annual Armored Division, which trained in Camp Barkeley, near Abilene, and served during World War II. The "Hellcats" fought in the EuropeanTheatre, Germany, France, and finally occupied Japan. When the war ended, the division was deactivated and many of the men settled in Abilene.
