Winters Bayou/Tarkington Creek Section begins on F.M. 1725 NW of Cleveland and winds 140 miles in its entirety through portions of the Sam Houston National Forest, including Big Creek Scenic Area, to trailhead at F.M. 945 about 4 miles NW of Magnolia. Foot travel only. Drinking water not available.
