The Burleson County Historical Museum houses items and relics of area pioneers, plus exhibits about Fort Tenoxtitln, a fort established by Mexico in 1830 to promote Mexican settlers and thwart Anglo-American colonists. It's a fascinating story - the Mexican commander eventually sided with the Texans and was a signer of the Texas Declaration of Independence. Burleson County Courthouse.
